Stop press - it actually means "previous owners" I know this is a late entry, but in real estate texts it means "previous owners", see http://www.partenaire-europeen.fr/Actualites-Conseils/Juridi...

previous title holder(s), previous owner(s)

I know this from the web reference cited below; the term as used in real estate does not have the usual meaning, but has to do with the fact that no registration will be accepted by the mortgage registry without the previous owners being sited. This is also borne out by the context, i.e. details of previous sales of the property are given under this heading.

agree Lisa Reutenauer : Thank you so much for clarifying this. Makes much more sense when I read the current real estate sale contract I am currently selling
