Finnish to English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
Is anyone familiar with the term "pemmaus"/"pemmata"?

It appears in the following job announcement, seemingly related to metal production:

"Särmääjä asiakkailemme
[...]
Tehtäviisi kuuluvat särmäyskoneen käyttö ja vaihetyöt, esim. mankelointi ja pemmaus."

Update: this is probably what is called "pemming" in English, as described on the following page: http://www.pmwinc.biz/welding/. I still don't know the exact definition of "pemming", but according to the description on that page, it is some type of method of putting metal parts together.
