piirakka (laboratory term)

Finnish to English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
Does anyone have any insight as to what "piirakka" refers to in this quote?

"Poista mahdolliset ilmakuplat puskuri-, entsyymi- ja substraattipulloista. Neonatal Extraction Solution pullo ladataan GSP-laitteeseen omassa piirakassa ja puskuri-, entsyymi- ja substraattipullot toisessa piirakassa."

The quote is excerpted from biochemical lab instructions, and "GSP laite" = "Genetic screening processor instrument".

Thanks

I haven't made much progress in this query yet, but it increasingly looks to me like this is some kind of device-specific jargon, which wouldn't be readily understood by people who don't work with this instrument (or perhaps even those who don't work in the specific lab that produced this document). Since the phrase "ladata piirakassa" is used, maybe "piirakka" is some type of caddy that resembles a "pie".
