transbordo

cross-deckingn. in a navy, the sharing of resources between two or more vessels, especially in an impromptu or ad hoc manner.

Una cita donde parece significar intercambio:
Cross Decking Sucess Aboard USS McCampbell
Story Number: NNS070908-17
Release Date: 9/8/2007 7:06:00 PM
By Mass Communication Specialist Seaman Bryan Reckard, Fleet Public Affairs Det. Japan
USS MCCAMPBELL, At Sea (NNS) -- Nearly a month has passed since the cross decking of crews from the Arleigh-Burke class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) to the Oliver hazard Perry-class guided missile frigate USS Gary (FFG 51).
The crew aboard McCampbell has adjusted to the changes in the crew and the ship after the initial cross decking procedure took place at Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka.
