agree Robert Forstag : Good idea. I would, however, favor retaining "cara a cara" to translate "in the face" since the phrase has biblical resonance (e.g., Moses saw God face to face; Jacob exclaims after wrestling with an angel that he has seen God "face to face", etc.)
