I can't have the heart to harm you.
Y le dices a le I can't have the heart to harm you.

Has dos opciones:
1. Opción literal: No soy capaz de hacerte daño

o " no me animo a hacerte mal/daño "
Pero así no se dice en inglés; la frase consagrada sería más bien " I DON'T have the heart to harm you";

Note from asker:
El dialogo es así: -I can't tolerate your sadness - Me neither |

Andrew Bramhall
: I think this means something like" My heart would go out to you to see you suffer"- slightly different, in that the speaker wouldn't be the one inflicting the pain.

Perhaps Pat is right in that the original does not appear to make much sense.

And I agree with Pat in that the original translation from Turkish does not appear to make much sense.

"No soporto tu tristeza". "Yo tampoco"... Bueno, pues "a mal tiempo, buena cara". ;-)

Gracias, John.

I didn’t have the heart to tell him = no tuve valor para decírselo, no tuve el valor de decírselo
Random House:
34. not have the heart, to lack the necessary courage or callousness to do something: No one had the heart to tell him he was through as an actor.
From An English-Spanish Dictionary (Granada University, Spain), 10.2
callousness
(n.) = insensibilidad, crueldad
Ex: Lack of proper self-evaluation may explain both their callousness and their imprudence = La falta de una autoevaluación adecuada puede explicar su insensibilidad e imprudencia.
Suerte.

Discussion
Your context however simply indicates sympathy as in "My heart goes out to you" Perhaps the translation of the original needs to be looked at again.
