Por el contexto, parece tratarse de una criba montada en una charola simple, inclinada. Quizás más técnicamente, una cama, base, cubierta o plataforma sencilla, inclinada. Y es que creo que lo de sencilla o simple se refiere a una sola cubierta, base o plataforma inclinada, aunque habría posibilidades de usar dos o tres, en cuyo caso ya son dobles o triples.
