I think this refers to the fact that if the feature is not in the language that the writer wants (or if the language is not clarifed), then he/she would prefer not to have it all. The feature itself could refer to an article in the press, some text in a CD insert, or even audio/video content on the artist.
I don't think it refers to a 'featured artist', which is a different thing altogether.
