English term

rate of time

English to Spanish Bus/Financial Management Employee Manual
Realmente, no estoy segura de lo que quiere decir el párrafo, copio:

"Employees of [name of company] may be either “nonexempt” or “exempt.” Nonexempt employees are paid overtime *at the rate of time and one half his/her regular rate of pay* for all hours worked beyond 40 hours in a workweek or 12 hours in a workday in accordance with applicable federal and state wage and hour laws. Exempt employees are paid on a salary basis and do not receive additional overtime pay. Employment classification will be addressed on the employee’s job description. Employees with questions as to his/her employment classification should contact the Human Resources Department."

Entre ** está mi dificultad.

¡Muchas gracias!

Mónica
