Hello Ana,
Excuse me that I didn’t answer before your question but I was not online till now.
The expression “cable de una sola cara” is an expression that I heard from people who use headphones with a cable in one side of the head. In other words, the cable is in contact with the face in un side of the face.
But this expression was not official because the companies the companies don’t translate textual “singled-sided cord”.
What is really the concept? It is only a cord in one side of the face. In other words, it is a headphone (auricular) with only a cable in one side of the face.
I saw that Panasonic uses the expression: “auricular con cable en un solo lado…” This is to differentiate other headphones that have cable in the two sides of the face.
Here you have the URL of Panasonic where the company shows the headphone:
URL: http://www.panasonic.es/html/es_ES/Productos/Auriculares/Aur...
Now I think that better than my previous suggestion is:
- “auricular con cable en un lado del cara”
- “auricular con cable en un lado”
- “auricular con cable en un lateral”
Vocabulary:
English term “headphone” = in Spanish: “auricular”
English term “cord” = in Spanish: “cable”.
Again, excuse me that I will not able to answer before.
Thank you,
Domingo

Ana:
I wrote fast to answer your question and I see now some typing mistakes.
These are really my new suggestions:
- “auricular con cable en un lado de la cara”
- “auricular con cable en un solo lado”
- “auricular con cable en un lado”
- “auricular con cable en un lateral”
- or “cable en un lado de la cara”
- or “cable en un lado”
- or “cable en un lateral”
- or “cable en un solo lado”
Thanks
Domingo
