I found this explanation in English on the Web:
'No Base' means that its main ingredient is Sodium Hydroxide. Can not be used on bleached hair or hair previously treated with ammonium thioglycolate (curly perm). On tinted hair that shows no signs of damage, use Mild formula only. Most relaxers contain this ingredient yet do not have 'No Base' in their name.
'No Lye' means that it contains Alkali. Usually contains Calcium Hydroxide as the active ingredient.
I would appreciate suggestions for the translation of "no-base". Thanks!
