English term

opens with air

English to Spanish Other Cooking / Culinary Oenology
Hello everyone!
I'm translating a wine review and I'm having trouble translating "opens with air". I'm wondering if there is a specific expression in spanish.... but I haven't found anything online... Perhaps "entra en contacto con el aire"?
"Initially rich, with sweet notes of licorice and green herb scents of thyme, this opens with air into a plump red..."
Thanks a lot!!

se "abre" al airearlo

Algunos vinos hay que "abrirlos", es decir, ponerlos en contacto con el aire para que recuperen la intensidad de su aroma.
Example sentence:

Al abrir la botella y entrar nuevamente en contacto con el aire, el vino se “abre” y volvemos a disfrutar de su bouquet, conjunto de aromas de un vino de crianza. En este caso, el vino tiene que pasar de la botella a un decantador.
