In large aircraft the air conditioning system is normally grouped together in its own compartment or bay. The conditioned air is distributed to passenger cabins through underfloor and hatrack ducting, the latter containing outlet grilles and the requisite number of individual adjustable cold air louvres which are supplied from a cold air source.
