1. We are asked for a translation of "not exceeding" - not of the other context. 2. "Max. credit amount" and "Not exceeding" appear to be two separate items in the table and may possibly call for different entries. I guess we don't have enough context to decide that one.

: Wenn das Original "Max. Cred. Amount" und "Not exceeding" als scheinbar separate Tabellenposten zeigt, finde ich sollte man das auch so übersetzen - selbst auf die Gefahr hin, dass das Quatsch ist. Bittet man um unsere Meinung oder unsere Übersetzung?

Also anders als du hatte ich "Max. Credit Amount not exceeding" als EINE Position im Akkreditiv verstanden - zum einen, weil ich bei "Not" das N nicht als Grobuchst. wahrgenommen hatte (mein Fehler), zum anderen aber, weil ich es schon oft so im L/C hatte
