Creditor ledger: The ledger type creditor can have the status blocked or active. In case the ledger type creditor is blocked, it's not possible to enter manually on this gl-account ( e.g entries in the journals of the type cash, bank, giro, or general). In case the ledger type creditor has the status 'Active' all kinds of manual entries on this ledger are possible.
