Sugar
Sugar is one of the world’s leading sweeteners and is produced mainly in Brazil. There are many types of sugars, all rated by the ICUMSA (International Commission Uniform Methods of Sugar Analysis). The sugar on our platform is traded as quoted and cleared by the CME group. The futures contracts are dollar-dominated and represent the price of sugar for 112,000 units. On our platform, the nearest future is traded out of the possible tradable contracts (March, May, July and October).
