Discussion
I think the name in Danish refers to the fact that it was most widely used in Copenhagen when many multi-owner blocks were built to be rented out as flats, and these locks were common.
They were in fact warded locks, as far as I can see from the rest of the description.
A later section in my text refers to a ´tilholderlås´ and calls it a Chubb lock - and it is clearly different.
