Catalan term
RET. PERCENTUAL
Catalan to English
Medical
Medical (general)
It is really a text in Spanish but some paragraphs and words are in Catalan. In this case there is a list of proteins and test results for a patient who has a thoracic pain.
After the "electroforesi de proteines" with alfa-1-globulina, alfa-2-globulina, beta and gamma... there is the following paragraph:
RET. PERCENTUAL 1.2% (0.50-2.00), RET. ABSOLUTS 56.9... fRACCIÓ DE BAIXA INTENSITAT... F de mitja intensitat... Fracció d'alta intensitat... and VSG.
What would "RET." stand for?

reticulocyte count (or percent)
I'm not a medical expert, but I'd sat it looks like "reticulocyte count (or percent)".

A reticulocyte count is a blood test that measures how fast red blood cells called reticulocytes are made by the bone marrow and released into the blood. Reticulocytes are in the blood for about 2 days before developing into mature red blood cells. Normally, about 1% to 2% of the red blood cells in the blood are reticulocytes.
