These are bomber aircraft, but I need the exact name in English. They are definitely not "Pipe bombers" :-)

Bombers
I believe there is nothing called:
قاذفة أنبوبية
Maybe it is a mistranslation.
Some examples: B-52, B1-B, B-2, F-117

--------------------------------------------------
The Mortar bombers are similar to bazookas...it is a kind of gun or canon...not an aircraft.

"Gunships" with side-mounted rocket launchers
Greetings.
Perhaps an accurate equivalent term in English is "gunships" or "attack helicopters."
The category of "gunship" refers to military helicopter aircraft that attack ground targets by firing with various on-board or mounted weapons.
Those weapons usually include:
o internal or side-mounted machine guns or cannon
o side-mounted rockets that are carried and launched from inside round tubular containers (hence the reference in the source term to tubular or pipe-like)
o side-mounted dispenser of small bombs (bomblets) or other explosive munitions
Examples include:
o US Army UH-1N 'Cobra' attack helicopter
o Soviet Mi-24 (NATO designation of "Hind" attack helicopter
o Soviet Mi-8 (NATO: Hip) assault helicopter
Most likely the reference is to helicopter gunships because jet aircraft cannot fly safely, or attack ground targets effectively, with rockets or missiles carried inside tubular launchers mounted on the fuselage or on wing stations (also called "hard mounting points").
HTH.
Khair, in sha' Allah
