I just want to warn you that a scammer is using TermWiki to approach potential victims of the now too famous money transfer scam.

Just a little more on this.
The person writng bets on compassion. She (?) tells a very sad story about being a refugee from Ivory Coast who can access the Internet in her camp in Senegal, thanks to a priest. It seems like a lonely person trying to make friends. Then the second e-mail starts talking about money left by her assassinated father. That is when I stopped reading and sent back an e-mail warning that person I was going to report her.

I know some will say I should not have answered the first e-mail, but I am human and thought it was just a pen-friend exchange at first.

I am receiving Nigerian scam sob stories every now and then so it is nothing new. An approach via Wiki is just a variation and I wouldn't consider it worth reporting.

Everybody know the Nigerian trick! The only solution Block sender! If they persist to consider us stupid people, don't pay any attention!:evil:
