Hats off to whoever thought up the answers, and for including a few nice traps (drague/boring, gars/train station, connard/duck, not to mention those I may have missed).
My favourite one: ‘conneries/Bond impression’

I had missed that one.
Not bad either, for translators:
10 out of 10 i.e. : You’re qualified to turn off the subtitles. In fact it’s a good idea, as otherwise you’ll just be sitting there going: "Well, that’s not actually what she said, you know. Not in Parisian French, at least."

...which reminds me of how feeble the subtitles often are regarding French swearing in movies, the Parisians will be going "l'enculé!" and the American subtitles will read "Jiminy Cricket" or something equally wet like "Gadzooks!"

Terrible quiz -_- | Feb 15, 2015 |
I got 9/10 just by choosing the rudest possible answer for every single question. The one I got 'wrong' is one I forgot to answer. That's hardly my idea of a well-designed quiz. If The Guardian was trying to put me off watching French TV dramas, they've succeeded quite nicely.

Not bad for a Canadienne, n'est-ce pas?
Here all the swear words relate to the Church and its holy contents and personages.
The very last one reminds me of an old French pun about Aretha Franklin getting married to Sean Connery.
