MAC-address for Mac?

Hello,

I got a new computer and now my ISP wants me to register with its MAC-address - does anybody happen to know where I can find this mysterious number?

It is your physical address Feb 23, 2005

Also called MAChine address. If you're running Windows:

- Open a command window (cmd.exe)
- Type: ipconfig /all
- Among the output there will be a line similar to this:

Physical address ................. .......... 00-0C-FC-66-7A-1B [fictitious numbers]

This is your MAC address

unfortunately, it is a Mac (sorry, I forgot to mention that before!) But thank you anyway, maybe I'll be in need of the Windows version some day!
