I\'ve creating a TM in Trados for several months for a client and there has been many changes in the translation of some short sentences (i.e., the use of the infinitive in sentences such as \"Evitar el contacto con...\" has been changed for \"Evítese el contacto con...\" as similar nuances).

I\'ve creating a TM in Trados for several months for a client and there has been many changes in the translation of some short sentences (i.e., the use of the infinitive in sentences such as \"Evitar el contacto con...\" has been changed for \"Evítese el contacto con...\" as similar nuances).

The problem is that I\'ve got a TM with several translations for the same sentences now and when I pre-translate a text sometimes I got the \"wrong\" (non validated\" translations instead of the \"good\" ones and I\'ve got to adapt them manually.

I wonder whether there is some way to edit the TM and delete the non validated sentences and keep only the validated ones to avoid mistakes and problems with this client.

Thank you.

Maintenance from "File" menu Oct 13, 2002

Use \"Maintenance\" from \"File\" menu and refer to TRADOS help files/description.

Best

You can also export the TM as .txt file, edit the .txt and import it into a new TM.

Jerry is absolutely right, but it is faster to edit the export Oct 14, 2002

It is kind of slow to do the Maintenance feature. I edit my *.txt export before reimporting it as even when I use the \'overwrite\' feature when importing, I end up with stuff I don\'t want.

Good luck,

Marijke
