In my younger days, when I was working a Monday to Friday job, the weekend was the prime time for going out and getting... er... Let's just say letting my hair down. For me, Friday no longer holds the mystique embodied in the pop songs of my generation (do millennial youth still keep it on a pedestal, I wonder). I'm tempted to suggest that whoever posted this poll grow up a bit, but that would be churlish. Especially as today appears to be Friday again...

However, I won't be working tonight as there are better things to do. Next weekend, it's anybody's guess.

It's the busiest time Sep 2, 2016

Clients tend to clean their desks before the week-end - the busiest time starts on Friday at about 4 p.m.

I usually do large jobs, and I set myself a daily quota. If I don't keep up every day, I'm toast.

Whenever I have to Sep 2, 2016

but celebrating POETS day every week was compulsory back when I lived in the UK.

Whatever the day (weekend excluded), I'd rather get up earlier the next day if I have to finish something outside "standard" hours due to bad planning.

Other Sep 2, 2016

I would do it if I felt like it but I prefer to work in the morning, sometimes as early as 6 am.

Yes if Sep 2, 2016

If I have to do it due to deadlines on Monday morning... I translate on Saturday and Sunday, I stay at home on sat evening so I can wake up early on Sunday if I need to... and it is ok for me.

Yes, when necessary... Sep 2, 2016

I have no problem with working at night, on weekends, on national holidays. I manage my own time, and sometimes prefer to do something nice during the day, knowing that I will be able to work at night. No problem at all!

What about fridays? Sep 2, 2016

What have fridays, ans specially, nights to not work?
Or shall I say: what is a "freelancer"?
Everyday in the week is for working when it comes!
Only those with bosses can have a 9 to 5 work.

Yes Sep 2, 2016

If I am busy and want to get something finished so that I can do something else on Sat or Sun (not to go to the church, something else useful) with my family.
But in general, it is no different to any other day of the week...

If need be Sep 2, 2016

In order to finish a project on time I would, of course, do it. Other than that, Fridays are like other days of the week.

I have another job to do then Sep 2, 2016

I'm the driver, carrier, assembler and general knob-twiddler for hubbie's group. And Friday is gig-night (except when the bar owners are on holiday, as today). Unfortunately, the roadie doesn't get paid.
