I provide an extensive experience as a freelancer for different international translation agencies and local individual clients since 2000. Since 2005 I have been an active Kazakh-English translator for TransPerfect Translations Company (US and UK branches). Amongst the largest projects there were multiple Kazakh translations and proofreading done for US Federal Reserve, Chevron, Altria and Phillip Morris companies.
Along with freelancing have professional experience as an English instructor for college students at the distinguished universities of Kazakhstan.
Currently I instruct Russian language to Special Forces, Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations at Fort Bragg, NC along with volunteering as a Russian-English translator for Fort Bragg Army Community Service.
Here is the summary of my translating skills:
• Kazakh (native) <> Russian <> English consecutive and simultaneous interpretation, proofreading, voice-recording, back-translating, transcribing, etc
• Kazakh (native) <> Russian <> English translation on a wide variety of educational, political, military, business, technical and scientific subject matter
• Translating or proofreading of a minimum 7 pages of completed text per day. Definition of 1 page is 1000 characters of target language.
• Proficient in utilizing office automation equipment in both graphic and word processing environments; specifically programs such as Microsoft Office 2007, WordFast, Photoshop, SDLX.
