تؤدي اصابة الشرايين المؤدية للقلب الى الاصابة بمرض الشريان التاجي,الم في الصدر (ذيحة) او نوبة قلبية.
تؤدي اصابة الشرايين المجهزة بالدم الى الدماغ الى نوبة مؤقتة حادة او
سكتة دماغية.
كذلك تصلب الشرايين يمكن ان يؤدي الى انتفاخ في جدار الشريان

الضور العصبي هو خلل يتميز بنوبات غريبة من الشراهة للأكل بدون القدرة على السيطرة على النفس حيث يتناول الشخص كميات كبيرة من الأطعمة عالية السعرات، يلي ذلك حث النفس على القيء أو تناول ملينات لتخليص الجسم من الطعام الذي تم أكله أثناء النوب إن هذه مشكلة طبية ونفسية في نفس الوقت، وتحوي مضاعفات كامنة خطيرة
. منها النزيف الداخلي والقرح ونقص سكر الدم، وانفجار المعدة، وتلف الكلى، وتوقف الطمث، ونقص معدل النبض، وضغط الدم وضربات قلب غريبة.

Food benging and purgeing (food disorder) is a disorder characterize by peculiar episodes of gluttony for eating without self control. In which the person consumes high quantity of food high in calories. Following by self stimulating vomiting or taking laxatives to get rid of the food that was consumed during the bout. This is a medical and Psychological problem at the same time and has potentially dangerous complications such as internal bleeding, ulcer, low blood sugar, stomach rapture, kidney damage, menstrual cessation, pulse drop, blood pressure drop and irregular heart beat.
