Source text - Spanish El proyecto busca instalar capacidades en el sector público para abordar la problemática del VIH/Sida y la violencia en mujeres, sobre todo aquellas pertenecientes a comunidades pobres. Se busca a su vez fortalecer a referentes de instituciones públicas de salud y otras áreas como programas de la mujer. Además, se trabajará a nivel de política pública con referentes de programas y con parlamentarios a fin de promover mejoras legislativas en los mismos niveles. Por último, el proyecto está dirigido a empoderar a las mujeres para poder tener un rol más activo en el mejoramiento de su calidad de vida.
Translation - English The Project aims to install capabilities in the public sector to approach the problem of HIV/AIDS and violence against women, mostly in those who belong to poor communities. Also, it aims to strengthen referents of public heath institutions and other areas such as programs for women. Besides, there will be work done at the public policies level, with program's referents and members of parliament in order to promote improvements on the legislation at those same levels. Finally, the project will be directed to empower women so that they are able to have an active role in the improvement of their quality of life.
