En el exterior se quiere expresar algo de la dulzura del mediterráneo, ondulaciones que equilibran el esquema cuadriculado del programa de partida.
CENTRO ESCOLAR DE ENSEÑANZA SECUNDARIA EN XXX, XXXXX.
Proyecto ganador de concurso público. La luz, que atraviesa de arriba abajo el eje del edificio. Las ventanas y las claraboyas, que se adaptan a cada espacio. El edificio, que desde la calle de entrada parece uno más del pueblo, de una sola planta, y que sorprende, porque una vez dentro, se descubren los niveles que no se ven, y que descienden hasta llegar al gimnasio y al patio, situados 10 m más abajo.

CASAS CUEVA, ARQUITECTURA EXCAVADA
CENTRO DE INTERPRETACION DEL MEGALITISMO EN XXX (XXXXX).
En un valle mágico, cuna de antiguas civilizaciones megalíticas, una colina emblemática, central en el pueblo, horadada en su propio centro, con un cilindro de 20 m de diámetro y 12 m de profundidad. Se accede al cilindro hueco desde un lateral superior, y se desciende mediante una bella rampa en espiral hasta el nivel inferior. A medida que se desciende por la rampa, se van encontrando espacios de exposición, que se abren a los lados de la colina, y que permiten entradas de vista y luz.
HOTEL DE LUJO EN APARTAMENTOS SEMIENTERRADOS BIOCLIMATICOS.
Conjunto de apartamentos en circulos concéntricos alrededor de un gran estanque. Se realizan semienterrados, siguiendo las curvas de nivel, abiertos al valle y al sol. Bioclimáticos, y térmicamente protegidos por rellenos de tierra y pérgolas vegetales.
MIRADOR DE LAS CUMBRES DEL XXXXX Y DEL XXXXX.
Proyecto en el que se pretendía limpiar y adecentar la cumbre del XXXXX, y sustituir un deteriorado refugio por un mirador completamente excavado e integrado en la roca.
REFUGIOS DE MONTAÑA, CENTROS DE INFORMACIÓN Y RECEPCIÓN, [PAISAJISMO]
REFUGIO-BASE DE [POSTERO] ALTO EN XXXX.
Proyecto ganador de concurso público. Refugio de alta montaña en XXXX. Se plantea un diseño original, en el que la base es un módulo octogonal de habitación para 4-8 personas. El conjunto de módulos, forma como un conjunto abigarrado y compacto, comunicado mediante callejas protegidas de la nieve y del viento, comunicado con el núcleo central, del restaurante, recepción, aseos, estancia. Todo el conjunto se realiza en piedra del lugar, y las cubiertas, en lajas de pizarra del lugar.
CENTRO VISITANTES E INVESTIGACIÓN DE HUMEDALES EN XXXX.
Proyecto ganador de concurso público. Edificación muy cercana a la carretera de la costa, que se realiza hundida en el terreno, de forma que se convierte visualmente en unas grandes terrazas ajardinadas, miradores potenciales de los humedales. Como señuelo, un pilar con una gran jardinera superior, sugiriendo la copa de un pino, similar a los que se encuentran junto al centro. El techo se ha realizado en bóveda de ladrillo visto, tensadas con cables para contrarrestar empujes, y un gran ventanal abierto al valle exterioriza la curva de la bóveda interior.
CENTRO DE INTERPRETACIÓN DE LA CUEVA DEL AGUA EN XXXX.
Proyecto ganador de concurso público. En los cerros de la XXXX, a gran altura. se encuentran las maravillosas cuevas llamadas del Agua. El proyecto intenta cumplir un programa exigente, en un lugar extremadamente delicado, intentando respetar la compleja orografía, y permitir el máximo de comodidades a los visitantes y a los científicos que van a trabajar en la exploración de la fauna y flora peculiares de estas simas.
EDIFICIOS SINGULARES
CAPITANÍA MARÍTIMA DE XXXX.
Proyecto ganador de concurso público. Edificio compacto, orgánico, muy luminoso interiormente, claro para el visitante y perfectamente adaptado a sus funciones, según sus usuarios. Acabado en piedra caliza y con cubiertas en cobre.
CENTRO DE VISITANTES ISLA DE XXXX.
Se propone una actuación enclavada en una gran piscina. Exteriormente, solo se aprecia como elemento impartante, el perfil de las islas e islotes de XXXX. El interior del espacio del Centro se realiza mediante estructuras repetitivas, metálicas, que confieren al espacio la imagen de una catedral luminosa sumergida.
CAPITANÍA MARÍTIMA DE PASAJES XXXX.
Proyecto ganador de concurso público. Se intentan rescatar todos los elementos posibles del antiguo edificio, demasiado deteriorado para salvarlo. El diseño intenta integrar esos elementos de la historia del edificio en una estructura muy funcional y práctica.
HOGARES UNIFAMILIARES
HOGAR BIOCLIMÁTICO "VILLA MONTE [XXX]" EN SIERRA XXXX.
Vivienda unifamiliar situada en medio de unos paisajes maravillosos, con una dirección visual muy específica hacia el valle norte, y en un clima extremo de calor en verano. Vivienda sin posibilidades de utilizar energía de red, lo que ha implicado un diseño de vivienda bioclimática, muy protegida y cerrada en las caras sur, este y oeste, y muy acristalada a la cara norte. Funciona mediante energías renovables, agua caliente solar, electricidad fotovoltaica.
HOGAR AISLADO UNIFAMILIAR CON VISTAS A LA XXXX.
Casa orientada especialmente a las vistas, con interiores horadados por diversos patios, espacios abiertos y cubiertas interiores vistas. Un gran sótano multiusos, y un estudio combinado con dormitorio en la planta alta.
REHABILITACIÓN DE CASA DE MONTAÑA PARA TALLER DE ARTISTA.
Una cliente artista, de origen nórdico, tiene la intención de crear un taller escuela para formación de artistas, en un pueblo de montaña, rehabilitando un viejo caserón derruido.

The curving exterior walls undulate, capturing the gentleness of its Mediterranean location and balancing the scheme of the building’s otherwise squared geometry.

Winning project in a public competition. Light crosses the axis of the building from top to bottom, diagonally. Windows and skylights are distributed throughout. From the street, the building looks like any other one-story structure in the town, but upon entering, it’s clear that this is something different. The building’s multi-leveled distribution descends until reaching the gym and playground, 30 feet, (10 meters) more or less, below street level.

CAVE HOUSES, SUBTERRANEAN ARCHITECTURE
MEGALITHIC ARTS CENTER IN XXX, XXXXX.
In a magical valley that was the cradle of ancient megalithic civilizations, there is an emblematic hill right in the middle of town with a hollow cylinder measuring 65.62 feet in diameter by 39.37 feet deep drilled into its center. You enter this cylinder-shaped arts center from above, and descend it via a beautiful spiral ramp. As you descend, you encounter exhibition spaces that are open to the hillside, letting in light and scenic views.
LUXURY HOTEL IN SEMI-UNDERGROUND/NATURALLY CLIMATIZED APARTMENTS.
This is a complex of apartments arranged in a semi-circle around a large pond. They are partially submerged in the ground, and following the land’s natural contours, also face the valley and receive sunlight. Because they are partially underground, they are thermically protected by and benefit from the earth’s natural heating and cooling properties.
LOOKOUT ONTO THE SUMMITS OF XXXXX AND XXXXX.
Project with the purpose of cleaning up the summit of XXXXX and substituting the old, deteriorated refuge with a completely new, excavated lookout area that will be well-integrated with the surrounding rocks.
MOUNTAIN REFUGES (CAMPS AND/OR SHELTERS), SCENIC RECEPTION AND INFORMATION CENTERS
BASE CAMP OF THE [POSTERO] ALTO IN THE XXXX.
Winning project in a public competition. Refuge camp in the high mountains of the XXXX. This original design uses an octagonal unit as its model for a room that accommodates 4-8 persons. The units then fit together in a compact complex, interlinked via narrow covered alleyways that protect against wind and snow to connect with the reception area, restaurant and bathrooms, which form the nucleus of this complex. The entire complex is built from local stone and slabs of local slate are used for the roofs.
SCIENTIFIC LEARNING CENTER (FOR HUMID SOILS) IN XXXX.
Winning project in a public competition. This construction was built very close to the coastal highway. It is partially submerged and terraced into the landscape and surrounding gardens. In addition to its enormous visual impact it provides an opportunity for close observation of humid soils. The center “echoes” the surrounding pines with its pillar that supports a garden, suggesting the crown of a pine tree. The ceiling is vaulted brick tightened with cables to resist windforce, and a huge window opens to the surrounding valley, echoing the curved shape of the building’s vaulted interior.
ARTS CENTER OF LA CUEVA DEL AGUA (THE WATER CAVE) IN THE XXXX.
Winning project in a public competition. In the hills of the Sierra de Arana is an area of wonderful caves called “water” caves. This project was demanding because of the necessity to respect this area’s complex physical geography, while at the same time, create a comfortable space for visitors and scientists who come to this specific location to study its flora and fauna.

HARBOR MASTER’S OFFICE IN XXXX.
Winning project in a public competition. Light-filled, compact, “organic” building, clearly delineated for the visitor and perfectly adapted to its functions and uses. Finished in limestone with a copper roof.
VISITOR CENTER ON ISLA DE XXXX.
Here a construction inside a large pool of water has been proposed, where from the outside, the one impacting element you will see is the profile of the islands and smaller barren islets of XXXX. Inside the Visitor Center, the space is dominated by repetitive metal structures, suggesting a luminous submerged cathedral.
HARBOR MASTER’S TICKET OFFICE IN XXXX.
Winning project in a public competition. An attempt was made to rescue as many of this old building’s original elements as possible, but it was simply too damaged to be saved. The design recreates these historic elements for a building that is both practical and functional.
SINGLE FAMILY HOMES
BIOCLIMATIC HOME, “"VILLA MONTE XXX" IN SIERRA XXXX.
This is a single-family home with spectacular views facing a northern valley. The summer heat is intense here, and the house had no access to local electricity, so it was built to be bioclimatic – amply protected on its south, west and east sides, with lots of windows and sliding glass doors on its north side. The house works with renewable energy, solar hot water panels and photovoltaic electricity.
DETACHED SINGLE-FAMILY HOUSE WITH VIEW OF LA XXXX.
This house is especially oriented towards its vistas, with interior spaces broken up by various patios, open areas and covered interior porches. It has a large multipurpose cellar, and upstairs, a studio combined with a bedroom.
RENOVATION OF A MOUNTAIN HOUSE FOR AN ARTIST’S WORKSHOP.
A Nordic client, who is an artist, has the intention of creating an artist’s workshop/school in a small mountain town by renovating this old, rambling ruin of a house.

Hay imágenes que no pueden borrarse, hay estampas que duran la eternidad y hay sueños que parecen realidades. Si pensamos en un paisaje andaluz, extensos campos de olivares que tiñen la tierra de un verde ceniciento, bañados por el sol del Sur de España y con Sierra Nevada como marco de la imagen…pensaríamos que es difícil imaginar que exista algo tan perfecto.
QUIÉNES SOMOS:
XXXX es una empresa dedicada a la explotación agraria de un olivar de casi 500 hectáreas situado en el corazón de la comarca granadina. ABOUT US:
XXXX is a company dedicated to the cultivation of olive groves that cover nearly 500 hectares of land in the heart of the region of Granada. Due to the vast expanse encompassed by these groves, they are divided among three municipalities: Las Gabias, Vegas del Genil y Santa Fe. The property is conveniently located at the crossroads of national highway XXX, only 15 minutes from the airport.
The property, known as Cortijo El XXX, is a plantation of olive groves made up of these distinctive olive varieties: Picual or Marteño, Hojiblanco, Arbequino and Manzanillo. The company presents a very weak financial structure, with assets of USD 667 million, and a PN of USD 53K.
Since the beginning of 2005 to this day we have had sales of more than USD 16 million. Although previously the payment situation was not very good, during 2005 this improved enormously.
At the moment the client has losses/is in debt of/for USD 1.2 million, for which the payment date of September 17th has been given.
Although the innate structure of the company is not particularly solid it seems to me that there are other fundamentals that we must consider. This company is part of a partnership that is investing in the region very intensely.
