My source language is English and my target language is Russian. I offer translation, editing, and proofreading, as well as translation memory and glossary creation and maintenance. Other services include cultural consulting (brand names cultural review, copy adaptation, etc.) and translation quality assessment. I work with wide range of materials: from business letters, legal contracts and marketing collaterals to technical specifications, maintenance manuals, safety instructions and user's guides, websites and software user interfaces. I can handle projects in Trados Studio, OmegaT and other CAT tools format.

• Cost and time effectiveness: My rates are generally in line with those charged by experienced professional translators on the international market. While my rates are certainly not the lowest, by entrusting projects to me my clients ultimately pay less money and spend less time to get the work done because they can avoid costly and time consuming processes of correcting errors or finding another service provider to redo everything from scratch.
  
  
• Confidentiality: The content that needs to be translated can often contain very sensitive information. I treat my clients’ confidentiality with the utmost care and never disclose either their confidential information or their identification details to any third parties without their consent (except as required by law).
  
  
• Data safety and security: In today’s world most of the business information is transmitted internationally via the Internet, by email in particular. I don’t rely on any free email or file storage services to receive and, most importantly, to store my clients’ content and instructions. Neither do I use any of the so called cloud (external server based) tools to do my work except when explicitly requested by a client. All of my email and all the files I work on are always stored locally on my computers and regularly backed up to at least one external storage device for easy recovery. This approach prevents irreparable physical data damage and keeps the information away from unauthorized eyes.
  
  
• Responsiveness: For me translation is a full-time professional occupation and not an odd-job. In addition to the benefits mentioned above, this means I can respond to your inquiries and requests in a timely manner during regular business hours. I constantly monitor my inbox.
