Malaysian
Translators Association (MTA) certified translator with special recognition
from World Arab Translators Association (WATA).

A Malay
native speaker trained for nine years in Arab and British universities with
specialization in Arabic Applied Linguistics and Teaching Arabic for Speakers
of Other Languages (TASOL).

In addition
to nearly 43 years’ working experience in Kuwait, Malaysia, and Brunei universities
teaching Arabic linguistics, Lexicography, TASOL, and Translation, I am a
qualified Arabic to Malay and Malay to Arabic translator with 25 years’ theoretical
and practical experience.

Both as a
university lecturer and translator, I am active in writing research books and
articles in three languages (Arabic, Malay and English) in the areas of TASOL
and Applied Linguistics, and my other translation specializations are in Religion,
Lexicography, Education, Linguistics, Literature, Biography, History, Tourism, Behavioral
Science, and Subtitling.
