Source text - English Pada hari ini, beberapa jenis permainan, terutama permainan bola sepak, badminton, squash dan hoki begitu popular dalam kalangan masyarakat negara ini. Akan tetapi, permainan traditional seperti Congkak, Gasing, Batu Seremban, Tingting, Wau dan sebagainya mungkin asing bagi sesetengah orang terutama anak muda. Permainan tersebut akan lenyap begitu saja jika tiada usaha dilakukan untuk mempopularkannya semula. Malaysia sememangnya kaya dengan permainan tradisional. Setiap permainan mempunyai faedah yang tersendiri sama seperti permainan moden pada hari ini, terutama memupuk perpaduan dan hubungan mesra antara anggota masyarakat. Bagi memastikan permainan tersebut tidak terkubur begitu sahaja, semua pihak perlu memainkan peranan untuk mempopularkannya khususnya kepada generasi baru. Orang ramai harus sedar bahawa perrmainan tradisional merupakan satu daripada warisan silam yang perlu dipertahankan.
Translation - Malay Nowadays, there are few sports that are popular among the people in this country. Sports like football, badminton, squash, hockey are among the well-known. However, young generations might not very familiar with Malaysian traditional games such as Congkak, Gasing, Batu Seremban, TingTing, Wau and many more. These traditional games soon will be forgotten and disappear if there is no effort to popularized it again. Malaysia has varieties of traditional games. Each games have each own benefits same as these modern sports. Most of them are to cultivate the unity and close-familiarity among the community. To protect these traditional games from dying, all parties must play a part in popularizing again the games especially to the new generations. People should realize that traditional games is one of the cultural heritages that must be protected
