English to Chinese: Travel expense requirements General field: Bus/Financial Detailed field: Management
Source text - English Business expenses must be tightly controlled to ensure that payment is made only for valid business and that the best possible tax treatment is achieved. All Business Units should establish documented procedures for the reimbursement of business expenses incurred by employees. There procedures should clearly set out the nature of costs that can be reclaimed and the process for the approval of claims.
All claims should be approved by the employee’s superior before settlement. The Business Unit Managing Director’s claim should be approved by his immediate superior. Where this required approval is outside the country of operation, the expenses may be reimbursed in advance of approval, provided payment is authorized by the local business financial controller. Any such payment constitutes an advance that is due for immediate settlement in the event that the relevant expenses claim is not subsequently approved.
Translation - Chinese
English to Chinese: Foreign Exchange Exposure Hedging General field: Bus/Financial Detailed field: Finance (general)
Source text - English In the absence of a specific approved divisional hedging strategy, the umbrella Group hedging strategy must ne applied whereby at any time at least 80% of certain exposure for the next two years and over 50% of highly probable exposure for the next 12 months is hedged.
Each Division must ensure that in all constituent companies core dealing controls are in place namely: authorized dealers are approved by the Divisional Finance Director, a person other than the dealer shall reconcile the Legal Entity and bank confirmations, the movement of funds and bank reconciliations are performed by a person outside treasury operations and any discrepancies are reported to the Divisional Finance Director and not the dealer.
Each Division must maintain adequate processes which ensure that constituent companies monitor future hedged exposures to ensure that if the exposure materially changes or is eliminated entirely the hedge is immediately adjusted.
Translation - Chinese

I have 20 years of in-house translation experience since 2000 after I worked as a technician in world-renowned engineering corporations such as BASF and FLOW where I accumulated abundant industrial experience which supported my technical translation career later. During my in-house translation career, I leverage my technical know-hows to translate countless technical documents from English to Simplified Chinese or vice visa, with the technical fields ranging from petrochemical engineering, machinery, automobile, electronics, and construction to telecom, IT, and other industries. Afterwards, my domain gradually extends to laws, consumables, marketing, management, etc. I can deliver a fluent and exact translation to target languages based on my capabilities backed by my mother tongue, technician background, rich translation experience, lookup and search skill on search engines, broad horizon and serious attitude. So far, I have translated more than 20 million words covering various types of fields and customers.
