Mimpara 30 mg film-coated tablets
Mimpara contains lactose
If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product.
How to take Mimpara
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. Your doctor will tell you how much Mimpara you must take.
Mimpara must be taken orally, with or shortly after food. The tablets must be taken whole and are not to be divided.
Your doctor will take regular blood samples during treatment to monitor your progress and will adjust your dose if necessary.
If you are being treated for secondary hyperparathyroidism
The usual starting dose for Mimpara is 30 mg (one tablet) once per day.
If you are being treated for parathyroid cancer or primary hyperparathyroidism
The usual starting dose for Mimpara is 30 mg (one tablet) twice per day.
If you take more Mimpara than you should
If you take more Mimpara than you should you must contact your doctor immediately. Possible signs of overdose include numbness or tingling around the mouth, muscle aches or cramps and seizures.
If you forget to take Mimpara
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
If you have forgotten a dose of Mimpara, you should take your next dose as normal.
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
If you start to get numbness or tingling around the mouth, muscle aches or cramps and seizures you should tell you doctor immediately. These may be signs that your calcium levels are too low (hypocalcaemia).
Very common: may affect more than 1 in 10 people
● nausea and vomiting, these side effects are normally quite mild and do not last for long.
Common: may affect up to 1 in 10 people
● dizziness
● numbness or tingling sensation (paraesthesia)
● loss of appetite (anorexia)
● muscle pain (myalgia)
● weakness (asthenia)
● rash
● reduced testosterone levels.
Uncommon: may affect up to 1 in 100 people
● seizures
● indigestion (dyspepsia)
● diarrhoea
● allergic reaction (hypersensitivity).
Not known: frequency cannot be estimated from available data
● Hives (urticaria).
● Swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue or throat which may cause difficulty in swallowing or breathing (angioedema).
● Unusually fast or pounding heartbeat which may be associated with low levels of calcium in your blood.
After taking Mimpara a very small number of patients with heart failure had worsening of their condition. Low blood pressure (hypotension) has also been seen in a very small number of these patients. As so few cases have been seen it is not known whether they are due to Mimpara, or not.
If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet.
How to store Mimpara
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and blister after EXP. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Do not store above 30 ºC.
Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicines you no longer use. These measures will help protect the environment.

إذا أخبرك طبيبك أنك غير قادر على تحمّل بعض أنواع السكريات فتواصل معه من قبل أن تتناول هذا المنتج الدوائي.
كيفية تناول ممبارا
احرص دائمًا على تناول هذا الدواء تمامًا على النحو الذي أخبرك به طبيبك أو الصيدلي، واستشر أحدهما إذا ما كنت غير متأكد. سيُخبرك طبيبك بالمقدار الذي يجب عليك تناوله من هذا الدواء.

Production is an activity carried by an institutional unit that uses inputs of labour, capital and goods and services to produce outputs of goods and services.
Production does not cover natural processes which have no human involvement or direction, such as the unmanaged growth of fish stocks in international waters, but production does include fish farming.
Production includes (ESA 2010 3.08)
- The production of all individual or collective goods and services that are supplied to units other than their producers.
- The own-account production of all goods that are retained by their producers for their own final consumption or gross fixed capital formation.
- The own-account production of dwelling services by owner-occupiers;
- Domestic and personal services produced by employing paid domestic staff;
- Volunteer activities that result in goods.
Own-account production of goods by households:
(1) own-account construction of dwellings;
(2) the production and storage of agricultural products;
(3) the processing of agricultural products;
(4) the production of other primary products, like mining salt, cutting peat and carrying water;
(5) other kinds of processing, like weaving cloth, the production of pottery and making furniture.

Production is not affected by the activity being illegal or not-registered at tax, social security, statistical and other public authorities.
Own-account production of goods by households is recorded when this type of production is significant, in relation to the total supply of that good in a country.
Intermediate consumption (P.2)
Intermediate consumption consists of goods and services consumed as inputs by a process of production. The goods and services are either transformed or used up by the production process. It includes:
a) goods and services used as inputs into ancillary activities.
