Profile

•   A trained medical and legal interpreter and translator.

•   Admitted in the High Court of Malaya as an advocate and solicitor in January 2014.

•   Areas of practice including by not limited to company, corporate insolvency, construction, bankruptcy, property, housing development, contract, capital market, family and child, land, human rights and constitutional law. 

•   Possessed strong analytical and problem solving skills, meticulous, resourceful and trained to provide legal and strategic solutions. 

•   Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Cantonese (both spoken and written)

Major accomplishments: 

•   Advised private and public-listed corporations on matters involving directors and shareholders’ disputes, good governance, contract negotiation, fraud, breach of trust, and the recovery of bad debts. 

•   Advised a firm of consulting engineers in the Royal Commission of Enquiry into the tragic collapse of a high-rise structure.

•   Acted as the solicitor for Selangor state government in the water-restructuring dispute.

•   Represented client in international family dispute.

•   Provided legal opinion in press interviews in relation to national and international current issues, i.e. the legal avenues available to the family of the victims of the missing MH370, the persecution of Ahmadiyah Muslims in Malaysia, the disciplinary proceedings against the students of University Malaya for organising a talk in the vicinity of the university.
