Career
I majored in English Literature, but my interest in English itself has widen my understanding of the background and culture of English-speaking countries.
I've been in the translating and interpreting career, mostly in Korea, for about 10 years so far.

I've worked as a freelancer, not belonging to any agency. I am currently working as a translation advisor in a non-profitable organization.

Specialized Field
As a native Korean speaker, I can guarantee the quality of the work. I'm also experienced in Korean-to-English translation work as well.

I've been working on social study, finance, manuals, instructions, official letters on organizational arrangements, and construction-related documents. I also have experience with subtitling.

Moto
I understand how bad translation negatively affects one's business. And I also believe that good translation can boost one. Even if it's not directly related to business, conveying ideas correctly means a lot. It's not just about scholastic achievement. It takes intuition, cultural understanding and care.

I always try my best to be punctual. I like challenges in my life. However, I am aware of my limits and have learned when to say no so as to I can be focused.
