I am a freelance translator, based in Dublin, Ireland. I translate from German and French into English in a variety of disciplines. With over 23 years' experience in the translation and localisation industry, I have been working independently since 1999. Since then, I have built up considerable expertise in a number of subject areas including the automotive industry, art, IT, marketing, PR, business and finance. I am a professional member of the Irish Translators' and Interpreters' Association.


My experience is based on a sound academic foundation. In addition, to a BA in Applied Languages (Translating with Interpreting) I also have completed an MA in Communications and Cultural Studies. I am constantly striving to enhance my knowledge and expertise.


I am passionate about quality and am always happy to go the extra mile to ensure a satisfied customer. My very first customer as a freelancer is a valued client to this day.

Ich bin Freiberuflerin mit Wohnsitz in Dublin, Irland, und übernehme Übersetzungen unterschiedlicher Fachgebiete aus dem Deutschen und Französischen ins Englische. Seit mehr als 23 Jahren bin ich in der Übersetzungs- und Lokalisierungsbranche tätig, seit 1999 als Freiberuflerin. Daher kann ich auf umfangreiches Fachwissen in verschiedenen Bereichen wie Automobilindustrie, Kunst, IT, Warenwirtschaft, Marketing, Public Relations, Wirtschaft und Finanzen zurückgreifen. Als professionelle Übersetzerin bin ich Mitglied des irischen Berufsverbands für Dolmetscher und Übersetzer.

Meine Erfahrung baut auf einer soliden akademischen Ausbildung auf. Zusätzlich zu meinem Studium der angewandten Sprachwissenschaften (Übersetzen und Dolmetschen), erhielt ich auch einen Master of Arts der Dublin City University, Fachbereich Kommunikation und Kulturwissenschaften.

Basée à Dublin en Irlande, je suis traductrice indépendante. Je traduis à partir de l'allemand et du français vers l'anglais, et ce dans toute une gamme de domaines. Mon expérience s'appuie sur une solide formation académique. Je suis sortie diplômée de la Dublin City University avec un BA en langues appliquées (traduction et interprétation). J'ai obtenu aussi un MA en communication et études culturelles. Je consacre tous mes efforts à développer mes connaissances et mon savoir-faire en continu.
