English to Chinese: Technical Analysis General field: Bus/Financial Detailed field: Investment / Securities
Source text - English Technical analysis refers to methods that aim to forecast prices of securities in financial markets using charts or quantitative techniques. It seeks to identify and exploit price trends in financial markets.
Technical analysis is less concerned with why a price is moving (poor earnings, difficult business environment, poor management, etc. or other fundamentals) than it is on the fact that the price is consistently moving in a particular direction. To a technician, profits can be made in any market by positioning yourself in the direction of the price trend. If the price trend is up, then look for opportunities to buy, if the price trend is down, then look for opportunities to sell.
The premises of technical analysis were derived from empirical observation of financial markets. Dow Theory is generally regarded as the foundation of technical analysis. Many academic studies of financial markets suggest that technical analysis has little worthwhile predictive power. Still, technical analysis has a loyal and dedicated following especially amongst active traders who defend the practice and believe it can be profitable and there are some scientific studies that support technical analysis.
Translation - Chinese 技术分析是指利用图表或者定量技术,旨在预测金融市场中证券价格的方法。技术分析力图辨认金融市场中的价格趋势并加以利用。
Repaying Society While Growing Professionally with
More than Professionalism!
A job well done is a demonstration of and reward for my commitment, dedication, loyalty and professionalism as well as a ticket to more chances of helping and repaying my client/employer. That is the philosophy I live by.
As a self-employed CATTI accredited translator between English and Chinese based in China, I would like to offer you my English to Chinese translation services, in a number of fields, contracts and securities among others. My extensive experience in translation/interpretation and teaching as well as my educational background enables me to compete among peer translators and interpreters, and provide you good value for money services.
Who am I?
I have been doing freelance English<>Chinese translations and interpretations since 2009. Before that I used to work as an in-house translator and interpreter from 2000 till 2008 after six years’ English teaching experience at a college, during which I coauthored several books and dictionaries published. In 2006, I secured my Qualification Certificate of Translation Proficiency Translator Level II (English<>Chinese).
My English education, apart from six years’ English courses at high school, went back to 1987, when I enrolled in a four-year English program at a University in China. That was followed by my three-year graduate study in English, which was completed in 1994. I had a brief opportunity to pursue training in English<>Chinese interpretation in 2005 at the Training Center of China Int’l Publishing Group.
What do I translate?
Types of documents I regularly translate and review include corporate contracts, rules and regulations, speeches, textbooks, technical instructions, travel brochures, student orientation brochures, training programs and curricula, to name but a few. Besides, I interpret for governmental organizations, international organizations, NGOs, and private sectors.
Why select me?
Working with me, you can always count on more value-added benefits: quicker delivery due to my professional experience since 2000; thorough subject research at no extra cost, independent proofreading services to minimize your workload, and all-time prompt responses to any possible follow-up questions.
If you are worried about whether I will be able to deliver the quality work you and your clients require, I would be glad to send you a sample of my work or do a test translation, whatever is your preference.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration. Please feel free to contact me and let me know if I can provide you with further information.
