I have more than 35 years of experience in the Japanese financial markets.
Although I have been working as a translator for only a year, I have been translating and interpreting between Japanese and English since the mid-1970s.
While employed in the securities industry, I was well-known for taking investors to visit Japanese companies. I have been told on many occasions that I did the "best company visits in the business."
My areas of expertise are securities and investments but I have detailed knowledge of economics, accounting as it applies to financial reporting and general business and commerce.
While I do not consider myself an expert in these topics, I do have considerable experience covering machinery and machine tool companies as a securities analyst. I also have fairly detailed knowledge of agriculture and coal mining developed through recent consulting projects. |
