My German is fluent as I lived and worked in Germany for over sixteen years. I have a Diploma in Translation and a Diploma in German from the Chartered Institute of Linguists (UK), a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Cultural and Media Studies. I have just completed a Master's degree in Creative Writing: Crime Fiction with the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK. I have worked as a translator for eighteen years. I was employed as a senior in-house translator with the German software company SAP for five years and have worked on a freelance basis for the last thirteen years. I am meticulous in terms of accuracy, quality and terminology when I translate and always deliver high-quality translations. I am also keenly aware of the need to adhere to strict deadlines. I use Trados Studio 2017 and memoQ.
