Source text - Vietnamese Doanh nghiệp cần gì ở một sinh viên mới tốt nghiệp?
Một trong những nguồn cung cấp nhân lực quan trọng là sinh viên tốt nghiệp từ các trường đại học và dạy nghề. Tuy nhiên, cho đến nay, một thực trạng đáng buồn là phần lớn sinh viên tốt nghiệp chưa đáp ứng được yêu cầu của các nhà tuyển dụng vì thiếu những kiến thức, kỹ năng cần thiết để đảm nhận các vị trí công việc mà họ dự tuyển.
Các doanh nghiệp cũng hiểu rõ là không thể mong đợi các tân sinh viên đáp ứng đầy đủ các yêu cầu về kiến thức, kỹ năng chuyên môn tương ứng với từng công việc cụ thể. Chính vì vậy, các doanh nghiệp cũng thường có chính sách đào tạo, huấn luyện để phát triển, nâng cấp nguồn nhân lực của mình.
Hơn thế nữa người lao động cần phải có những kỹ năng cá nhân cần thiết, trong đó kỹ năng trình bày và giao tiếp có thể xem là quan trọng nhất. Kỹ năng giao tiếp là khả năng xây dựng và phát triển mối quan hệ với người xung quanh, hiểu họ và làm cho họ hiểu mình từ đó tạo ra sự đồng cảm, hợp tác, chia sẻ và hỗ trợ lẫn nhau trong công việc và cả cuộc sống. Khả năng này không tự nhiên mà có, nó đòi hỏi sự rèn luyện, ngay cả với những người có khả năng hùng biện bẩm sinh.
Các doanh nghiệp cũng đòi hỏi người lao động phải có khả năng tự mình xử lý công việc hầu như từ A đến Z: từ bước xác định mục tiêu, lập kế hoạch, thu thập thông tin, chuẩn bị các nguồn lực cần thiết đến việc triển khai thực hiện và báo cáo kết quả. Ngược lại, các doanh nghiệp đòi hỏi người lao động phải có khả năng phối hợp, làm việc chung với những người khác trong cùng một dự án hoặc một chuỗi công việc, trong đó kết quả công việc không được quyết định bởi một cá nhân mà phụ thuộc vào sự phối hợp, hỗ trợ lẫn nhau của các thành viên trong nhóm.
Translation - English What do Business Enterptrises Need from Graduates?
One of several important sources of personnel are graduates from universities and vocational colleges. However, the sad reality is that most graduates cannot yet meet the requirements of positions being filled through recruitment because they lack necessary knowledge and technical abilities.
Businesses also clearly realise they cannot expect recent students to adequately meet requirements for knowledge and specialised skills commensurate with demands of the coal face. Primarily because of this enterprises usually have policies for professional development and training to develop and raise the standard of their personnel.
Furthermore, it is essential that workers have the necessary personal skills, of which the ability to express and communicate is perhaps the most important. Communication skill is the ability to establish and develop relationships with those around us, understand them and make them understand us in order to create understanding, co-operation, sharing and mutual support in work and life. This ability does not naturally occur. It requires practice, even for those gifted with natural eloquence.
Businesses also insist that workers must have the initiative to manage work from start to finish: from the stage of establishing a target, making a plan, gathering information, preparing necessary resources, carrying out implementation and reporting results. Paradoxically, businesses expect that workers have the ability to co-ordinate working together with others on projects or job processes in which the results are not decided by an individual but depend on the co-ordination and mutual support of team members.
