I am a freelance English<>Russian translator and interpreter, based in New York City. Prior to moving to the US in 2001, I lived and worked as a freelance translator and interpreter in Russia. I have a Master’s degree in Translation from a Russian university, and I completed some graduate coursework in Management and Marketing there. In the US I received a Master of Science degree in Communications and have worked as a Translator/Interpreter/International Program Coordinator in an international organization.
I feel that my personal knowledge of the cultures, lifestyles, and business conventions of both countries are a big asset in providing quality translation and interpreting services. What is more, I truly enjoy doing it.
Some of the projects I have worked on include:
• Translation of corporate and legal documents: bylaws, articles of incorporation, registration certificates, minutes of the board meetings, tender documents, powers of attorney, apostilles, county clerk’s certificates, court decrees and statute articles
• Translation of promotional materials (brochures, newsletters, program proposals), marketing research texts
• Translation of bank documents
• Translation of insurance documents
• Translation of adoption documents for submission to Russian and Kazakh courts
• Translation of immigration-related and personal documents: birth, marriage and divorce certificates; real estate documents; archival records; personal correspondence
• Translation of book chapters (memoirs)
• Translation of medical information, including medical charts, vaccination records, medical assessments, and medical texts of general interest
• Proofreading
• Phone interpretation and evaluations
• Interpretation during court hearings (in Russia), medical examinations and official meetings
Translator’s statement notarized by a US notary public is available for all documents upon request.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
Thanks very much!
