PRESENTATION

After graduating with honours in Foreign Languages at the University of Bologna, I started to work for a number of Italian vocational training agencies as a coordinator, translator and interpreter. I was soon involved in the management of several EU-funded projects, which enabled me to travel a lot across Europe and acquire in-depth knowledge of topics like EU affairs and public funding in general, training and education, the voluntary sector, government and politics, business organization, staff management, event organization etc. But, most importantly, I had to meet the challenges and taking all responsibilities of a dynamic and innovative environment which made me professionally grow up.

After a few years, I decided to exploit my skills and expertise for a career progression as a translator, so in 2006 I decided to leave my job to become totally self-employed. Now I work as a full-time freelancer translator and teacher.

In 2008, given my deep love for music, I also founded a small indie label, which I am still running, and a bass music school. This is our website: www.basslab.it

I am a musician myself, I play the electric bass and the baroque recorder. I have been in music all my life!!
