Source text - Chinese 商务部１６日发布公告，自即日起对原产于印度的进口磺胺甲恶唑进行反倾销立案调查。
Translation - English China’s Ministry of Commerce started on June 16th an antidumping investigation into sulfamethoxazole (SMZ) imported from India, according to a press release on the Ministry’s website.
Through the investigation, the Ministry of Commerce will determine whether or not SMZ from India was dumped on the Chinese market and, if so, it will calculate the dumping margins and the extent of damage to the domestic industries.
Normally, the investigation should be completed within 12 months, i.e. by June 16th, 2007, but under special circumstances, the investigation may be extended until December 16th, 2007.
