Transit XV and soft license key

Hi,

I am using Transit XV Professional since several years with a hardware dongle.

Does anybody know if a soft license key is available and how to acquire it?

We have been using Transit XV for years now without a dongle.
As I recall that was only used for Transit 2.7 or 3.0.

When you install Transit XV you should enter a licence number obtained from Star, then you can work without using a dongle.

I bought Transit XV Pro a few years ago with a software key. Perhaps contacting your local Transit representatives would be a good idea? In my country they are really helpful and willing to oblige.

Thank you for the quick replies.

I did not receive any license number when I purchased Transit XV pro.

Anyway, I have contacted the Star office and hope to receive a reply soon.

Hi,

An update: I wrote to Star and they were kind enough to send me a license number and also instructions to download the latest patch and how to upgrade the license number!

That sure is a huge relief.... as the hardware dongle was giving me lots of problems!
