1. Should the Work go out of print (defined as one hundred (100) or less copies sold per calendar year) the rights granted herein shall terminate and revert to the protprietors

@legiscriba Having worked in publishing for many years I can confirm that the definition given in your source text is not the usual meaning of 'out of print'. No wonder you're having problems here!

has to be understood in publishing industry lingo Out of print here means IMHO "printing an additional edition" (of, say, a run of 10,000 copies) is not justified anymore because it will not sell (at the present rate) in a reasonable time frame.

c'est l'expression consacrée quand un livre réputé invendable et retiré du circuit et, bien entendu, ne fait l'objet d'aucune réimpression. Mais bon, je ne sais pas si ça correspond à ce que vous recherchez.

neutral Jennifer Levey : That is the usual meaning of 'out of print' - but the definition in Asker's ST refers to a different concept: there are (or may be) copies available but they aren't selling.
