Dear colleagues,

is there a way I can change the language setting of my source text in Word?
Right now it is set to FR>DE, it should be EN>DE.

Thanks!

Hi Vera,

you might know this already and your question is of different nature:

When creating a new project you're being asked to enter the languages manually. Not sure if this is still possible when already working on the project.

Sometimes the client sends a file or package with predefined language settings that you can't change afterwards. But I think this applies only to packages or xliff files.

Not sure if I could help.

Best,

for your reply, Patrick.

I had tried to highlight all text and change the language in the original word document, but
creating a new document in word with the right setting worked.

Actually really easy.

Just had exactly the same issue and followed your instructions.

Thanks, Vera
