Smartcat manual: How to italicise etc

Hi everyone, I am a new user of Smartcat. Normally with other CAT Tools it is easy to find a button to make a word italics or bold or underline, etc. But with Smartcat, I can't find any button nor manual on how to do it. I have googled and couldn't find anything. Can anyone help please? Thank you

SmartCAT help reads as follows:
Tags are used to maintain the formatting of the original document.
It means you don't need to format your text, but what you do need is ensuring all the tags are in place.

Hi Stepan,
I do need to italicize some words in my translation as they are foreign words. So I do need to know how to do it.

Actually, I mean that, from the SmartCAT developers' standpoint, you (and other users) do not need this feature. AFAIK, you cannot do it even if you need.
