Had a second thought and decided to submit this case to a moderator first.

My apologies to all.

I agree with you! Sep 27, 2005

Is there any way to stop this kind of abusive people?

Till when?

Good point and brave!

Inés

Thanks Ines,

I have nothing against free trade and the ocassional low-budget job, but it seems like this company is making a mockery of this wonderful community.

What makes this particular case so vexing for me is the fact that this company is located in my home state. Perhaps this is just a little too close to home for me to just sit back and say nothing.

SHE IS BACK Sep 27, 2005

She is a 20yo girl, still going to the University and farming out jobs from the least scrupulous translation agencies, who agree upon her practice. I have told her already that this might hurt her one day. She seems not to care.
But her practice does not stop here; unfortunately !

I'm going to lock this thread Sep 27, 2005

As the initial poster changed his mind and edited his post (and I think he's right), and because the mention of Jobs links lead to a particular outsourcer, which would be equivalent to discussing outsourcers in forums, I'm going to lock this topic.

Thanks for your understanding

Claudia

First of all, thanks for Claudia for locking this.

Please make sure to read the Forum Rules before posting. In this case, rule #12 is relevant:

12. No client discussions

Comments regarding at a specific outsourcer, whether positive or negative, are not permitted. (To indicate your likelihood of working again with a given outsourcer, use the ProZ.com Blue Board.)

That said, I understand your concerns, and you're welcome to discuss the issue without explicit reference to outsourcers.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Ralf
