Hello,

This is a message to alert everyone of a person calling herself (or himself) N.N (EDITED). We recently received invoices from a company we never had done any business with. Apparently, this NN has ordered translations from this company while posing as an employee of Comsense Company Solutions, with all our contact information, but using a freemail address ([email protected] - EDITED).

I would appreciate any information on similar cases or any leads on who this person might be (a long-shot, I know), to avoid further jobs being ordered in our name and try to help the company that actually did the translation get their payment.

Also, for anyone contacted by Comsense regarding jobs. We only use email addresses of the type "name"@comsense.se and send purchase orders for every job.

Best regards,
Jonas Ryberg

How awful! Apr 23, 2009

I do not have any practical information but this sounds just too terrible for words. For you and for the translator.

Report it to the free email company Apr 23, 2009

You should report this to to inbox.com. At least they will cancel that account.

inbox.com is in the USA, and that is good for you and the scamed company. If the invoice is big enough, the scammed company, with the aid of a lawyer, could make them to tell the scammer's IP address and could try to sue him/her. Anyway, at least they will close that email account.

¡Salud!
