I wonder if statistics could be published that would show what time of day there is the most traffic here on Proz.com. At least to me it seems there is nothing happening between 4.00 and 9.00 GMT, no new forum postings, no jobs appearing. The same observation I make regarding my personal mail, people start to send mails after 9.00 GMT only and most mail arrives when I have alreay stopped working.

I'm here!

FWIW, Heinrich, I'm usually here between 4:00 and 6:00 GMT, which is midnight to 2 AM where I live. And yes, new KudoZ postings (Spanish & English) are slow at that time, as well as responses to forum postings and KudoZ answers & agrees.
I, too, would be interested in seeing site traffic statistics.

TOPIC STARTER
And other statistics too
Oct 20, 2006
I visited one competitor of Proz.com, there they have extensive statistics about different language combinations in relation to jobs, translators etc. According to that site English-Somalian is the most sought after language combination.
But it would be interesting to see the activity distribution around the clock. I can view these statistics for my own home-page, but not for a whole site like Proz.com.
Let's hope for it.
Heinrich
